As Senior Compliance Manager, Malia manages our firm’s compliance-related functions, including preparing and submitting all the firm’s regulatory filings, maintaining and monitoring the code of ethics, renewing insurance policies, and assisting in the review and drafting of legal documents.

Before joining our team, Malia worked at Russell Investments for 30 years and touched many parts of the business. From 2011 to 2020, she was a compliance officer and was responsible for a range of functions, from regulatory reporting and marketing material reviews to new hire compliance training. Previously, she was an operational risk manager and was responsible for identifying and documenting key business risks and control gaps, as well as overseeing disaster recovery and business continuity.

Malia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, and all types of water sports. While she loves being active and has completed a few half marathons and 10Ks, she also enjoys lounging with a book or the latest binge-worthy TV show.
