Justin Arter, Non-Executive Director

Justin Arter, an Independent Non-Executive Director, was appointed to the Board of Pacific Current Group on 17 June 2025.

Justin has over 35 years experience employed in the funds management, superannuation and investment banking industry. He retired as CEO of Cbus, a large industry superannuation fund, in May 2023. Justin has previously held senior roles with BlackRock including country head for Australia and Head of the Institutional Client Business for the UK, Middle East and Africa. Prior to that he was the CEO of Victorian Funds Management Corporation. Justin also spent 19 years in a range of senior positions at Goldman Sachs and JBWere. He has also consulted for a major a major listed Australian bank.

Justin has not-for-profit and unlisted company Board and Investment Committee expertise across a number of entities and organisations. He is currently a member of The Ian Potter Museum of Art Board and a director of The Myer Family Investments Limited, Geelong Grammar School and Cannatrek Limited.

Justin is a graduate of the University of Melbourne with degrees in Law and Commerce, and attended the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania in 2005.
