Curtis Yasutake, Director, Investments
As Director, Investments, Curtis works closely with our CIO to source and analyze investment opportunities. He also leads our firm’s financial modeling efforts and assists in the negotiation and drafting of term sheets with potential partners. Passionate about evaluating the prospects of asset management businesses and equipped with strong investment beliefs, Curtis actively challenges the status quo in his role at Pacific Current Group.
Previously, Curtis was a Senior Research Analyst at Russell Investments where he led manager research efforts related to US quantitative and fundamental strategies across the cap spectrum. He also worked with Verus and Morgan Stanley.
Curtis has an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a BA in Business Administration from Seattle University. He is a CFA® charterholder. He enjoys tennis, fantasy football, and the Seahawks, and has played basketball in the same rec league every Sunday since 2008.
