Aaron Jamieson, Managing Director, Business Development

As Managing Director of Business Development, Aaron leads our new business development, marketing, and client service efforts in North America. He also helps our portfolio companies build relationships with institutional investors in the United States and Canada. Though he’s always focused on finding new ways to improve efficiency in the manager selection process, his favorite part of the job is the satisfaction that comes along with introducing world-class asset managers and institutional investors that may not have found each other otherwise.

Before joining Pacific Current Group in 2017, Aaron was a Principal at Meketa Investment Group where he led business development and marketing for their outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) business.  Prior to that, Aaron was at Macquarie Group for 12 years where he was Head of North American business development, marketing, and client service for Macquarie Investment Management Private Markets.

Aaron graduated from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia with a BEng in mechatronics and an MCom in finance. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He enjoys various activities with his wife and two boys including camping, fishing, driving/flying remote-controlled cars and drones, and traveling to his wife’s native country of Brazil, where he takes every opportunity to practice his Portuguese.
